Free cycle rides around Preston
Cycling enthusiasts will be able take their bikes out on routes in and around Preston this autumn thanks to Skyrides.
The free initiative from Sky, British Cycling and Preston City Council means you can saddle up and get out and about into Preston’s surrounding countryside, riversides, docklands and urban landscapes.
There are a range of rides, from long day-long rides to short trips that are family friendly.
Routes include the Broadgate Bridge Bash, Fylde Loop, Tickled Trout Trail and the Preston Marina Loop.
It appears that you need your own bike to take part, there doesn’t seem to be the option to borrow one. You must register for any of the Skyrides that you want to go on.
If you go on any of the Skyrides let us know how you got on and how you found them.
