Christmas farmers’ markets near Preston

The festive season is drawing near and if you’re stuck for present ideas, especially for parents, give some Lancashire produce a try.
A huge assortment of cheese, pickles, jams, cakes, beers, meats, veg and plenty of other local food and drink will be offer at farmers’ markets across Lancashire.
There’s a few happening near Preston in the coming weeks, so feast your eyes on these:
Saturday 12th December 2009 – Samlesbury War Memorial, Cuerdale Lane, Samlesbury. 9.30 AM – 1 PM. Organiser Teresa Taylor (01772 877248).
Saturday 19th December 2009 – St Michaels Church, Ashton on Ribble, Preston. 9 AM – 1 PM. Organiser Jacquie Crosby (01772 827835).
Saturday 19th December 2009 – Grimsargh Village Hall, Grimsargh. 9 AM – 2 PM. Organiser Sian Middlesborough (01772 705383).
