New York’s angriest yodelling banjo player at The Continental
2nd, March 2010 by Lisa McManus
“New York’s angriest yodelling banjo player”, one Curtis Eller, will be dropping in on Preston’s Continental on Thursday 4th March as part of his brief UK tour. Curtis is a dynamic solo performer with a huge cult following who sings about, amongst many other things, pigeon racing, performing elephants and John Wilkes Booth.
Curtis will be joined on the night by a host of quality acts from slightly closer to home. Stephen J. Buckley & The Feverdreamers are an extremely popular seven-piece from Preston and Johnny 5th Wheel & the Cowards have risen from the ashes of local favourites Thee Uncomfortables.
The Continental’s Arts Space from 8pm on Thursday 4th March. Advance tickets are available at £4 from The Continental, Action Records and Preston Tourist Information (at The Guild Hall).
