Preston’s city centre shops will stay open late on Wednesdays and Thursdays to give shoppers every opportunity to get their Christmas shopping done in time.

Some of the shops will begin their late nights in the first week of December, but the majority will begin in the second and third week.

The major shopping centres and arcades will be open until 9pm, along with the shops on Fishergate and Friargate.

The main shops will also stay open late from Monday 20 until Thursday 23 December, for those last minute purchases.

Parking:

Preston’s car parks will also be operating late night shopping hours; with free parking available at the Bus Station, Market and Hill Street car parks from 6pm.

Additional Park and Ride services will be put on to cover the late night shopping, with buses running at an increased frequency on Sundays, and on late nights until 9.30pm.
