LIVE: Preston North End v Watford

Deepdale will host its last Championship game for at least a season tomorrow when Preston North End face Watford.

PNE know that whatever the result they will be relegated but a win could at least see them climb off the bottom of the table.

North End will have their work cut out against the Hornets who have scored more away goals than any other Championship side this season.

If the Lilywhites do manage to win it will only be their tenth of a poor season.

Paul Coutts, Chris Brown and Sean St. Ledger look set to miss the game and the Republic of Ireland international has probably played his last game for the club.

Billy Jones looks to be joining the captain on the way out, the full back’s contract has expired so he will leave PNE on a free.

Dale Bennett, Ross Jenkins and Martin Taylor will be absent for Watford who will be disappointed to be 13th in the table.

A couple of months ago the Hornets looked to have a real chance of finishing in the play off places but five defeats in their last eight have put paid to that dream.

Watford have only used 26 players this season, that is less than any other Championship club while with 40 PNE have used more than any other team.
