Some of you might be familiar with the Pet of the Week feature we used to run on Blog Preston, in light of the recent financial troubles at the RSPCA we’ve decided to change Pet of the Week to a far more worthy feature.
Every week we’ll be feature an animal from the Preston RSPCA centre in Ribbleton who is up for re-homing. This will provide some much needed attention for these animals, hopefully mean the RSPCA can re-home animals faster and then we be at a stage where they can take more animals in.
This is Bonnie, a beautiful Rotty with loads of character. She loves going for walks and having lots of fuss and attention.
She is an elderly girl who needs lifelong painkillers for her joints but she is still very active and still gets very giddy at times.
She would love to live with another dog as long as they were calm and gentle with her. However she can’t be rehomed with cats. Bonnie is very friendly and can live with children over 8 years old, as long as they are sensible and understand some areas of her might be sore.
Giving treatments can be difficult and she doesn’t like being prodded and poked by vets too much, but who does! She will make a very loving addition to the family.
If you would like to adopt Bonnie, please get in touch with RSPCA Preston via their website or calling 01772 792553.
