CCTV appeal after wallet stolen from McDonalds in Preston

POLICE have issued CCTV images of two men they need to trace in connection with the theft of a wallet from McDonalds.

The offence took place around 2:25pm on Thursday 13th September 2012 at the McDonalds restaurant on the bottom floor of the Fishergate Centre when a 25 year old student has mistakenly left his wallet on the counter.

The wallet contained £350 as well as a driving licence and several bank cards.

Police want to speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV images who ordered food after the victim.

PC Rob Costigan from Preston Police said: “I would appeal to anybody that thinks they know the identity of either of the men in the CCTV to come forward and contact me quoting crime reference number DA1202845.”

Both men are white, around 6ft tall and aged in their early 20s. One was wearing a grey beanie hat and the other a white top.
