Nando’s ‘practice day’ free meal
Nandos Chicken Restaurant has taken over the former Pizza Hut restaurant on Cheapside in the City Centre. With the success of the Nandos restaurant at Deepdale Retail Park, the firm has decided to expand and fill one of the many empty office spaces in Preston.
On 6 October the restaurant had a training day and for invited guests only the meal was on the house.
Specially invited guests were treated to a totally free meal as part of a practice day inviting feedback before the big opening.
The restaurant chain, popular for its spicy chicken dishes will open with a restaurant that will allow for 100 customers to dine and will also create jobs for up to 30 restaurant staff.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Not only is this positive news for Preston because of the creation of yet more jobs but a household name showing confidence in the city’s high street provides a welcome boost to others considering investing or re-locating.”
The new Nandos outlet will be open for buisness on Monday 8 October.
