Watch Russell Howard’s Good News on BBC3 tonight (15 November) at 9pm for a feature on a female firefighter from Preston Fire Station.
Samantha Preddy, from Blackpool was picked to appear on the show because in 2010, at the age of 18, she was named as the youngest female firefighter in the country and the only firefighter at the time at the Amberbridge Fire Station in Lancashire.
Show presenter Russell Howard tries to guess the occupation of Samantha and the two of them challenge each other to don firefighter gear and run a hose as fat as possible.
