Residents asked to have their say about Preston’s cultural future

The Harris Museum is the cultural centre of the city and has been since Victorian times

A survey for residents to help define the cultural future of Preston has been launched.

The Preston Cultural Framework will decide what cultural events and venues the city focuses on between 2013 and 2017.

From the Harris Museum, to the gig down the pub to all the stunning events the city saw at the Preston Guild it’s a chance to have your say.

The survey is available to fill out here and the deadline for completion is Friday 18 January 2013.

Those interested in the arts and culture can also come along to three events to help shape the Cultural Framework.

They are being held on Monday 4 February between 3pm and 5pm, Tuesday 5 February between 6pm and 8pm at UCLan and on Thursday 7 February between 12noon and 2pm at Avenham Pavilion.
