The face of a man Lancashire Police want to speak to

Police have released a new CCTV image in the investigation into a sexual assault.

A 36 year old woman was sexually assaulted at an address in Pechell Street, Ashton,

The incident took place at 1pm on Wednesday 30 January and police are now wanting to speak to the man pictured.

He is described as being Asian of large build, aged in his 30s or 40s, with balding hair and slight stubble.

He was wearing a blue top, dark trousers and brown shoes.

DC Melanie Caunce said; “We have released an image of a man that we believe was in the area at the time of the offence and we are appealing for him or anyone who recognises him to come forward. If anyone has any other information that they think could help, I would ask them to contact us.”

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
