The popular Lancashire Market will be returning to one of the city’s major streets for a summer food and drink extravaganza.
AdvertisementOn Saturday 17 August from 10am to 5pm stalls with all manner of local food, drink and crafts will line Friargate.
The road will be closed to traffic and shoppers will be free to sample local delicacies or grab a spot of lunch.
The Market, backed by Preston’s Business Improvement District, helps bring hundreds of extra people into the city centre and boost local trade.
Over 300,000 people have been visiting the Markets since they began in 2010.
