Gabriella Cilmi will be bringing a touch of sweetness to the Preston Christmas Lights On.

Organisers have revealed the Australian songstress is one of the acts on the bill for the Xmas celebration.

Cilmi, best known for her hit Nothing Sweet About Me has been confirmed to join the stars in Preston on Saturday 16 November.

Let’s hope she busts out her Christmas-themed song, Warm This Winter:

Preston Business Improvement District said they were still confirming a number of other acts for the event, including a headliner.

Preston City Council has announced free parking will be offered at the Bus Station and Market Street car parks from 12noon on lights switch on day.

Thousands of people are expected to turn out on the Flag Market to see the lights be turned on.
