CCTV images have been released by police in Preston following a burglary in Fulwood.
AdvertisementDetectives believe the burglary took place between 7.45am and 5pm on Tuesday 29 October at a detached house on Lower Bank Road in Fulwood.
The man, who police believe may be connected to the incident, was pictured at a shop in the city.
The offender got into the house after shattering the double glazed window of the patio door to gain access while the victim was at work.
The drawers and cupboards in the master bedroom were then searched, a men’s pulsar watch with a yellow metal coloured face and a white metal coloured strap was taken along with a small amount of cash.
An alarm then went off and the offender fled.
Sergeant Mark Riley from Preston CID said: “I would appeal to anybody that recognises this man, particularly as he is wearing a distinctive jacket, or with any information about this burglary to call police on 101.”
