Treehouse Bar is the latest addition to Preston’s nightlife which has got people wandering down Fox Street for a taste of the local deep house and trance scene with that rare chilled-out flavour mostly absent from a usual clubs’ menu.
AdvertisementThe new venue opened in November to introduce deep Tech House beats at a launch party featuring local DJs Mike Lavercombe and Lee Mckeever.
Since then, this new upmarket bar opens its doors three days a week for party-goers interested in a more atmospheric and relaxed weekend experience.
Sporting minimalist wooden decoration and a wide choice of drinks in a relaxed setting, the location seems to aim at shifting the mood from the usual partying mindset towards a more “refined connection among its customers”.
Mark, the owner of Treehouse, said: “I’d like to think that this could be the first of many. At Treehouse, we’ve created a unique place where people feel very comfortable to be and stay in. The venue really does speak for itself and the feedback has been amazing.”
Although Treehouse was initially aimed at an audience between 23 and 40 years old, it is now attracting the usual student crowds in search for something different.
Mark said: “There is still a lot of work to be done with regards to getting us on the map of people’s night out but the word is spreading and we are seeing a steady increase in trade week by week.”
Even though now the bar is glistening with all the usual favourites in terms of cocktails, beers and alcopops, the choice will be expanding regularly with new monthly and seasonal additions to the drinks menu.
