The Wooden Spoon Theatre company performed at the last PrestFest

The violent past of Church Street over the last 200 years is to be explored in a new history tour.

Follow two lively and interactive storytellers through the city streets to explore the stories.

Preston Weekender advert

The tour is part of PrestFest, a weekend celebration of the city centre nightlife.

It is free to attend on Saturday 1 February at 7.15pm, meet at the Cenotaph.

The tour runs for an hour and isn’t suitable for anyone under 15.

Last year’s PrestFest included the Wooden Spoons Theatre Company taking punters on a theatrical tour of Preston’s murderous past.
