Preston North End TV Player features an interview with new signing Scott Wiseman.

Highly rated Scots defender Wiseman joins PNE in their push to gain automatic promotion to the Championship.

On the PNE website manager Simon Grayson comments: “He’s a versatile player who can play anywhere across the back four, as well as wing back. He’s got a lot of experience, played in a few different divisions, but most notably in the Championship in the last two or three years. He’s a good size, a good lad, with good experience and has a hunger to be successful, so we’re delighted he is going to come and join us.

“He has turned down a couple of Championship clubs to come here, which means he’s seen what we are trying to achieve at this football club; so we feel that we have another good addition to the squad, which gives us a bit of versatility and flexibility in the team.”

The 28 year old is eligible to play for Gibraltar in international games thanks to his grandparents.

Preston North End are riding high in the Sky Bet League One Table currently sitting in a play-off position at fourth place. A positive result in the tricky away trip to rivals Wolves this Saturday could mean they go third, a possible 2 points of leaders Brentford.
