St Walburges graces the cover of this month’s magazine

The latest issue of the Preston Magazine, now up to its 16th edition, has been released.

Started by Penwortham resident Heather Crook the magazine is a collection of nostalgia, history and memories about Preston.

The December/January issue includes a look at how the city changed between 1843 and 1893.

Preston was undergoing a rapid expansion and change in industry.

A third extract from Joshua’s War, a soldier’s diary from the trenches of WWI, is also included.
