Police executed a successful Drugs Act Warrant on 4 March at an address on Plungington Road, in Preston following community intelligence. They say a local male and female are currently helping Police with their enquiries.

A second cannabis stash was later discovered at an address near Cadley Causeway junction with Woodplumpton Road. Police found a smaller cannabis crop but the plants still amounted to several thousand pounds in street value.

Police urge the community to keep intelligence coming in on cannabis growers. They are a danger to all as most have dodgy electrics which can cause house fires. If you have any information call 101 or Crimestoppers. In an emergency always call 999.
