Charity Guild Wheel Walk in aid of youth group, Preston Sea Cadets in support of their Mini Bus Appeal and trip to France.
Last years walk was such a success they are holding another in conjunction with IMPACT training. The walk takes place on Easter Sunday 20th April, setting off at 9am. Any one is welcome to join either as walkers or volunteers.
The Wheel encircles Preston and the walk is 21 miles. The Wheel was built in 2011 for the Preston Guild in 2012 by Lancashire County Council.
Preston Sea Cadets is a voluntary youth organisation providing young people aged 10 – 18 years with valuable academic and vocational training in a number of subjects including the life skills of teamwork, self-respect and social responsibility – the core qualities of good citizenship. TS Galloway provides educational and training opportunities in the heart of the community.
The challenge is a 21 mile walk and to raise as much money charity as possible.
