The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile takes place in Preston’s star attractions, the Avenham and Miller Parks.

Your mile, your choice. Whether you are toddling along with the toddlers or hotfooting it, the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile has a distance for everyone.
1 Mile, if you are looking for some simple fun raising fun.
3 Miles, step it up a little with family and friends to raise a bit more cash.
6 Miles, almost 10k, your chance to up the pace more and raise serious cash.
If you go your chosen distance collect your medal at the finishing line.
Jimmy Khan, Head of Sport and Leisure at Preston City Council, said: “We are delighted that so many people have already signed up but we want even more people in Preston to take part and make it the best Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile yet. So let’s show the rest of the country what we can do and raise as much money as we possibly can for this incredible cause!”
Also taking place at Fulwood Leisure Centre, Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Swimathon.
The Swimathon is a nationwide swimming challenge that encourages swimmers up and down the UK to swim a variety of challenge distances at their local pool and raise money for charity.
