Books For Free, the community reuse event in Preston is going from strength to strength.

The latest count of books saved, proudly displayed in the shop window, has topped over 30,000.

Located in the Fishergate Shopping Centre, they aim to give books a second life and save them going to landfill.

It has restored life to the old TJ Hughes store on the ground floor of the Fishergate shopping complex. Now they have expanded to include a Healthy Planet Hub for Our Generation.

On the 12th of April a new phase begins at the revamped store.
