Ribble Steam Railway needs help with the Heritage Railway Project at Riversway in Preston. Why not help them by becoming a member.

They need help during 2014 to continue taking care of the museum and to continue the popular passenger train journeys throughout the year.

Can you help with:

Railway operation, retail and railway. Restoration of steam locomotives, coaches and exhibits including preperation of new exhibits.

Membership for the year starts at £15 and will allow you access to the site to assist with working parties, and provide you with three newsletters each year. It also includes safety briefings and training in the use of equipment.

It’s the ninth full year of operation for Ribble Steam Railway and they have many opportunities – from staffing the shop and cafe, to guarding, firing and driving, but they still need help to keep the fleet operational.

Membership also entitles you to half price admission on most operating days, on production of your membership card (on some days this may be restricted).
