Renovation work is underway at one of Preston’s well-known watering holes.
AdvertisementThe Moorbrook Inn on North Road has been bought by Jeremy Rowlands to add to his Continental Properties empire.
A favourite after-dark drinking establishment the inside of the building is being brought up to scratch and beer garden added outside.
The bar will be open again from 5pm on Friday 23 May.
Rowlands owns a number of pubs in the city, with The Continental being his flagship operation. He also runs The Ferret, formerly the Mad Ferret, and work is still continuing on Ormskirk Road in the city centre – due to open as an upmarket pub diner.
