The fabulous roller skating ladies of Preston are raising money for charity by undertaking a marathon skate.
On Saturday 17 May Preston Roller Girls will face their biggest challenge.
The plan is to skate laps of the one mile cycle track at UCLan Sports arena, kindly donated by them for the day, to rack up miles to reach their goal of skating the combined distance from John O’Groats to Lands End!
Money raised will go to two local charities, SPACE & St Catherine’s Hospice.
The team target is to raise £1,000. To date they have achieved £418, so any donations can really help them smash their goal.
Preston Roller Girls took part in the Skatemania marathon and half marathon last year at the same venue. They know only too well how difficult it’s going to be
You can give money through JustGiving. Its simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity.
