We’re taking the opportunity to look back at some of the big names who have graced the stage in both the venues within the building.

The 1,500-capacity main venue has seen some huge names including the likes of Kasabian and one of its most famous shows – Dizzee Rascal came to town at the height of his rise to fame.
Upstairs the smaller venue, holding 400, has been a touring stop for many bands on the way up – or the way down – in the ebb and flow of the music industry.
Here Andy Squire, one of the official photographers at the venue between 2007 and 2008, highlights some favourite snaps from a period when the venue was booking shows left, right and centre. He now shoots the likes of Bon Jovi at Wembley Stadium but has kindly had a rummage around for when he started his music photography career.

Dizzee Rascal 15 February 2008 in The Venue The booking of Dizzee Rascal was one of the events that signalled 53 Degrees was a serious music venue, able to attract top talent.
The Hoosiers 17 February 2008 in The Venue. They recently returned to play the club room.
Frank Turner 11 May 2008 in The Club Frank Turner made several appearances at 53 Degrees, most as support for a main act. Less than four years after this picture was taken, he sold out Wembley Arena.
The Subways 20 May 2008 in The Venue A 53 Degrees favourite, this was shot during The Subways’ second appearance at the venue, filling The Venue after playing to a small crowd in The Club just nine months earlier. They return once more on Saturday 25 October 2014, tickets are £10.
