Fire at RK Sweets on Plungington Road

Fire crews from Preston are battling a fire on Plungington Road.
AdvertisementThe fire started around 7.40pm at the RK Sweets store, near to the corner of Ripon Street nearby the Co-Op.
Smoke was seen coming from a flat above the restaurant. A person and dog are reported to have been in the property.
The road has been closed and three fire engines fought the blaze.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are now investigating the cause of the fire.
