Tens of stalls lined Friargate on Saturday for the summer Lancashire Market.
AdvertisementTasty treats from across the country and the best of local products were on display.
Stalls included one for Lytham-based Olive Tree Brasserie who are preparing to open in the Miller Arcade.
Their stall was one of many who saw a famous face visiting from the foodie world as Jean-Christophe Novelli dropped by to lend his support to the market.
He was in town as part of the Dine with the Stars competition being held as part of Love Food Love Preston month,
Highlights of the market included the local sausages which Blog Preston contributor Louise Hogg tweeted to show how they turned out for her tea that evening.

Strong winds didn’t hamper the turnout to the market, organised by Preston’s Business Improvement District, which avoided any major downpours.
Birds of prey were also on display as the crowds thronged Friargate to explore the stalls.
