The 20th issue of the Preston Magazine has been released exploring the history of the city.

In this issue of the magazine there is fabulousĀ amount of local historical reading matter;Ā a poem by Preston born Canadian poet Robert Service, memories of Preston Grammar School and the Catholic CollegeĀ and not forgettingĀ theĀ ongoing serial ‘A Preston Lad’ by Arthur Eric Crook (1917-1997).

Publisher of the Preston Magazine, Heather Crook said that the continuing success of the magazine never ceases to amaze her, there are always interestingĀ and fascinating stories from the loyal and new contributors, which shows that there isĀ no end to the writing talent we have in Preston.

There is also an appeal for any photographs, family memories or other papers related to the First World War in Preston.
