Volunteers needed for Grange Park orchard apple picking

Ribbleton residents are being invited to pick apples from their local orchard.

The Grange Park orchard needs harvesting and the Preston City Council park services need help to pick all the apples.

Apple pressing takes place as part of the session and you’ll get the chance to taste some apple juice.

The free event starts at the Grange Park Interpretation Centre on Wednesday 29 October. It runs from 1pm to 3pm.
