On Monday 1 December the new Mundo Tapas restaurant in Preston’s Guild Hall opened its doors to the public and offers an exciting range of Tapas world cuisine.
The completely refurbished premises is part of the fresh new face of the Guild Hall recently acquired by local entrepreneur Simon Rigby and is managed by Richard Simkin. Immediately you enter the restaurant you experience a warm and welcoming reception from the staff who take their job very seriously in helping you all the way to enjoy your visit there.
The moment you glance at the menu you can see that there will be something for all tastes with a definite flavour for foods from around the globe. I admit that normally if I’m not sure what an item is on a menu, I generally leave it alone; however, in this case I decided to be a little adventurous and didn’t regret that one iota as each dish I tried was quite simply, delicious.
Tapas, originally from Spain, is now a recognised and popular world wide way to dine and is received in the UK with great enthusiasm by people. Any member of the staff will gladly help you along with your choice of dishes by clearly explaining what they consist of and how they are cooked and served.
Throughout December the restaurant has some fabulous offers of unlimited Tapas at certain times of the day and evening.
