Can you unravel the mystery of the Rossall Hoard of Roman Coins at the Harris Museum?

Harris Museum & Art Gallery want you to help solve the mystery of the Rossall Hoard of Roman Coins.

As part of their Money Matters project, they have been researching their coin and notes collection to discover their origins.

The project is made possible by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Collections Fund and the Friends of the Harris Museum & Art Gallery.

The coins on display are made up different coins to the original Rossall Hoard and has been the source of some confusion.

Harris Museum want to know where the original Rossall Hoard ended up and where these different coins came from.

You can find out more about the Rossall Board at a free Taste of the Harris talk on Wednesday January 14 from 12.30-1pm.
