Two of the most accomplished jazz guitarists in the UK will take to the New Continental stage.
AdvertisementMike Walker and Stuart McCallum will play a show together on Sunday, February 22.
Both Manchester guitarists have an international following thanks to their previous work.
Mike Walker previously worked with The Impossible Gentlemen while Stuart McCallum worked with The Cinematic Orchestra.
Stuart McCallum is a former student of Mike Walker and a chance jam led to this musical collaboration.
Walker said: “Our musical and personal rapport was immediately apparent.”
The pair share their influences from Pat Metheny and Bill Frisell to more contemporary acts like Bon Iver.
This evening is being curated by They Eat Culture, who regularly organise innovative events across Preston.
The evening begins at 8pm and tickets cost £10. You can buy them from the venue or by going online here.
