Korova Arts Cafe and Bar will host a Ukulele Open Mic Night this weekend (March 1).
The event will last from 5:30pm until 8.30pm and is open to all the public and is organised by the Preston Ukulele Strummers Society.
Hosting the event will be Ribble City V.
They are described as Preston’s Premier Ukulele Rock Band.
The instrument has seen a resurgence in recent years thanks to folk bands using it as a regular part of their arsenal.
Bands such as Noah and The Whale and Mumford & Sons have both made assaults on the charts with the ukulele a big part of their success.
Entry to the event is free.
