Cultural Framework Grant open to arts organisations offering up to £3000

Preston City Council are accepting applications for this year’s Cultural Framework Grant. A number of grants are available to enable groups to fulfil art group projects, which will consist of up to £3000 being awarded.

The awards will be given to arts organisations and groups who can contribute to the goals set out by the grant. The funding will only be given for projects with outcomes that affect people, and not for organisational running costs.

The initial deadline for applications is Sunday April 19.

The goals that the grant has set out, which organisations should follow are: Untitled

Preston’s Event Team and The Harris Museum and Art Gallery are also hosting three events which applicants are encouraged to get involved in too.

Aspects of Rural Life is one, being an exhibition due to start in July of this year. Another is Preston City Festival. The final is 300th anniversary of the first Jacobite uprising/ Battle of Preston and this is scheduled for November this year.  Any groups’ projects that link to these themes are encouraged to mention this on applying.
