CCTV pictures of a man police want to speak to about the Preston Station incident

Police are appealing for information after an assault on a staff member at Preston Station.

CCTV images have been released of a man wanted in connection with the incident.

It took place around 8.35pm on Sunday 15 March.

PC Peter Wilcock said: “A man approached the staff member in the bar at the station. When she told him that the bar was no longer open he became verbally abusive and as she walked away from him he pushed her into furniture.

“This was totally unprovoked. The member of staff was simply doing her job and was left very shaken and upset by what happened. Behaviour like this will not be tolerated.”
