Picture of man wanted in connection with assault

Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak to after a 50-year-old man was left with a broken jaw after an attack outside a city centre nightclub.

The incident happened outside Popworld in Church Street shortly after midnight on Friday 3 April.

The victim was approached by a man who punched him in the face, causing him to floor to the floor unconscious.

PC 3448 Ashley Gibson of Preston Police said: “I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV image or has any information that could help with our investigation to come forward and contact us.”
