The collision happened close to the Black Bull pub

The man charged with causing a four-car pile up in Fulwood which has left two people in hospital will appear at Preston Crown Court in August.

Matthew Bradley, 27, of Redcar Road, Bolton, appeared at Preston Magistrates Court on Wednesday 15 July.

He is charged with causing injury by dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

It follows a four-car collision in Black Bull Lane on Tuesday 7 July.

He has been remitted to Preston Crown Court and is due to appear on Tuesday 18 August. No plea has been made.
