Cannabis plants uncovered by police

Police have uncovered a cannabis factory in the Broadgate area of the city.

PC Karl Ingram led a raid on the property in Meadow Court around 6pm on Wednesday.

Officers found 32 cannabis plants in total and said the cultivation equipment was “quite expensive stuff”.

The property was empty when raided by police and enquiries are ongoing to trace the occupant.
