A swathe of new housing could be built near the new Cottam Hall Brickworks site.
AdvertisementMorris Homes have lodged a full planning application to put up 350 new properties on lane between Hoyles Lane and Sidgreaves Lane in Lea.
The development would be accessed via new roads from Hoyles and Sidgreaves Lane.
A sports pitch is also included within the plans, which already have outline planning permission.
Plans for the site were first lodged in early 2012 and outline permission was refused by Preston City Council due to traffic issues.
Morris Homes resubmitted their outline plan in June 2013 and received permission in October.
The land is identified within the North West Preston Masterplan – adopted by the city council last week – as being for housing.
The full plans can be found on the city council website.
Anyone can comment on the plans by commenting on the council website or emailing devcon@preston.gov.uk quoting reference 06/2015/0530. The deadline for responses is Saturday 25 July.
