Watch: Two men wanted as CCTV footage shows car window smashed

Police have released CCTV footage after a car was broken into in Fulwood. If you’re on our app, click here to watch.

Two men are being hunted by detectives following the incident in Kennington Road.

The video shows two men approach a Ford Galaxy around 4.15am on Tuesday 9 June.

A passenger window is smashed and one man reaches inside and a wallet containing around £100 is taken.

It is thought that the two men had tried the doors of other vehicles in the street and looked through windows, but no other items were taken.

In a similar incident on Beechway on the same day an orange Peugeot 207 was damaged after someone smashed the driver’s side window. Nothing was taken from inside the car.

PC 2814 Paul Goulding of Preston Police said: “If anyone recognises the men in the CCTV footage I would urge them to get in touch with me on 01772 209784 quoting log number 206 of June 9th.
