A car park on the edge of Winckley Square and Avenham Park could become a new apartment block.

William Eaves and Co Ltd have tabled plans to build on the land to create a two storey studio apartment block.

It would have six self-contained flats and be just outside the Winckley Square Conservation Area.

The land has been used as the East Cliff car park for nearby businesses since 2010 and at its rear will back onto the Fishergate Shopping Centre car park.

Full plans are available to view on the city council website.
