Preston board game café Dice & Donuts now has an official opening date.
AdvertisementWinners of a BID Preston competition for funding, the café sparked significant interest when we announced that they would be opening.

Board game cafés are particularly popular in China where they outnumber the branches of Starbucks. However, the first one came to London in 2014 and their popularity and demand has grown.
The grand opening will be at 11am on Thursday, November 19 with John Gilmore from BBC Lancashire present to cut the ribbon.
Millie Lavelle, owner of Dice & Donuts, said: “The whole team have been working hard to get everything ready over the past few weeks, it’s so exciting for us all to finally be opening.
“We can’t wait to get customers playing some fantastic games, and eating donuts of course!”
The café, which has signed up to be a Living Wage employer, will be open in a limited capacity from this Friday (November 13) and we’ll be heading in for a first look this week.
