Police want to speak to Nathan O’Neil after elderly man was victim of theft

Police want to speak to Nathan O’Neil after an elderly man was the victim of a theft.

Officers are trying to trace Mr O’Neil, 30, in connection with an incident that happened at the home of the 79 year old victim at Ribbleton Avenue on Tuesday October 13.

The victim was paying a tradesman who had completed building work on his house. Cash is thought to have been taken when the victim was distracted.

O’Neil is described as white with blue eyes, short fair hair and speaks with an Irish accent. He has links to the whole of Lancashire as well as the Formby area of Merseyside.

Police want to speak to O’Neil as part of their enquiries. If you have any information please contact police on 101 quoting crime reference SA1512633.
