Police return stolen puppy Rio in time for Christmas

His name is Rio and for his owners they thought his first Christmas was ruined. The puppy’s owner, a 12-year-old girl from Bamber Bridge, had her puppy pinched just weeks before the festive break. Video: TV ad launches to promote Christmas shopping in Preston

An advertising campaign will hit TV screens across the North West this week to promote Preston as a Christmas shopping destination. The 21-second commercial bills the city as “Santa’s best kept secret” and pushes what Preston has to offer to families. Christmas market and late night shopping for Preston city centre during festive period

Thousands of people turned out last night for Preston’s Christmas Lights Switch On at the Flag Market.
