Police crackdown on under-age drinking

Under-age drinking has frequently been linked to anti-social behaviour

28 pubs, clubs and off-licences have failed alcohol purchasing tests as part of an ongoing scheme by Lancashire Police.

Vandalism of cars on Broadgate

Police are appealing for information after approximately 20 cars on Broadgate in Preston had their wing mirrors snapped off.

A leaflet from the Broadgate Neighbourhood Policing Team states:

Between 12.40 AM and 1 AM during the early hours of this morning (Monday 13th July 2009), around 20 cards parked on Broadgate had their wing mirrors snapped off. A witness described the person responsible as being a male aged 15 to 18 years, about 5’6″ tall read article »
