Preston university building gets £1.9m revamp

Foster Building, at the University of Central Lancashire, which borders Corporation Street and Marsh Lane, is getting a £1.9m revamp. Free running event Park Run confirmed for Avenham Park opener

Park Run, an international running group, organises free to run events has been given the go ahead by Preston City Council. Three Preston offies fined for selling booze to children
16th, April 2012 by Ed WalkerThree Preston stores have been fined by police for selling alcohol to children. An Ashton store was found to have sold booze on two occasions to a 15 and 16-year-old. Another two stores, one in Ribbleton and another in Goosnargh, were caught once selling alcohol to a minor. Preston businessman caught fly-tipping in Ashton

New figures reveal slim chance of stolen pets being recovered in Preston

Mini moto rider from Ingol killed after lamppost crash

Collin Mayor, 22, was riding along Pope Lane onto Miller Road when he collided with the kerb and a lamppost.
