Delays of up to 60 minutes for rail passengers after overhead line problems between Preston and Wigan
Trains between Preston and Wigan North Western have been cancelled due to overhead wire problems near Euxton Balshaw Lane. Fishwick BMX track to be upgraded after Pirates win funding
The skatepark was first opened in 2006 A city BMX track will be upgraded to national standard after securing a funding a grant. Preston City Council and the Preston Pirates BMX club bid for £37,593 to get the track in Fishwick improved. Snow disruption in Lancashire
Heavy snowfall is caused huge disruption to some of Lancashire’s motorways overnight. The M65, M58 and in particular M6 motorways were affected with drivers being stuck for hours on the M6 between junctions 25 and 27.
