Government cutbacks have seen an end to free swimming for children and pensioners in Preston.
A decision made in June to stop funding free swimming means that as of Sunday 31st July everyone would be paying for their pool time at Preston’s Fulwood and West View Leisure Centres. read article »

Ladies it’s time to register for the Moonlight Walk in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice. Last year 2,580 women took part in the organised event to raise money for St Catherine’s. The half marathon walk starts at midnight on Saturday 5th June 2010, closing date for entries is 1st March 2010.
