Moonlight Walk
Ladies it’s time to register for the Moonlight Walk in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice. Last year 2,580 women took part in the organised event to raise money for St Catherine’s. The half marathon walk starts at midnight on Saturday 5th June 2010, closing date for entries is 1st March 2010.

The news that the National Football Museum, situated at Deepdale, is considering a move to pastures new is disappointing, but can be of little surprise to anyone.
The facility has relied heavily on public subsidy since its launch in 2001, with the Northwest Development Agency, in particular, providing the necessary resource to keep the museum afloat. read article »

Get ready to Run Preston
Fancy running through the streets of Preston and raising money for charity at the same time?
Run Preston returns to Preston’s roads as part of the ‘On The Move’ festival, which includes the City of Preston Cycling Grand Prix, on Sunday September 27th 2009.
There are three races that you can enter, 2 km fun run (ages 8 and over), a 5km walk or run (ages 14 and over) and a 10km run (ages 15 and over). read article »

Preston will be moving again as the ‘On The Move’ festival returns between September 20th and September 27th 2009.
