Hundreds gather on Preston park for Guild 5k

Yesterday morning, hundreds of people took part in the Preston Guild 5k race, the first in a series of Guild races that will take place in the city throughout the year. In total, 741 runners completed the race on Avenham Park, with amateurs and enthusiasts rubbing shoulders with seasoned athletes around the challenging course. Fulwood Leisure Centre taking part in world’s biggest fundraising swim

A leisure centre in Preston will take part in the world’s biggest fundraising swim this weekend to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. City cyclists urged to get on their bikes for Preston Sky Ride

Over 5,000 people could be saddling up to take part in Preston’s biggest free cycling event. The Preston Sky Ride will take place in June and offers the chance for thousands to enjoy traffic-free cycling around the city. Global Rainbow Lights Up Preston (Photos, Video)
