Fire at Mick’s Curry Pot

A gas explosion triggered a fire at Mick’s Curry Pot takeaway on Friargate this afternoon. The fire, caused by a malfunction with a deep fat fryer, swiftly prompted approximately fifty 999 calls, the first of which was received at 3:43 pm.

Takeaway Review: Royal China

Located on Moor Lane the Royal China takeaway is popular with Chinese students and locals alike.Whenever I pass  people are sat at the little table in the window eating so with a Chinese food lover visiting I thought I’d give it a try.
